We believe:
That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16); that he truly lived, was crucified, buried in a tomb for three days, was brought back to life on the third day, and ascended up into heaven (Acts 2:22-36); and that God has given unto Him all power and authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is essential for all who believe in Him. Not only did the original apostles and disciples follow this practice, it is explicit in the Word that this act of faith washes away our sins and gives us a clear conscience. (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4, 1 Peter 3:21-22). He came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
In the necessary infilling of God’s Spirit to transform us (Romans 8) with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4) and of the fruits of His Spirit demonstrated in our daily actions(Galatians 5:22).
There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who is a holy Spirit (John 4:24), ever-present in the time of need (Psalm 34:17-19, 1 John 5:14), always willing to save us from destruction (2 Peter 3:9), and who was manifested on earth in the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:23, Revelation 1:7-8).
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and we must derive our worldview from its foundation. (2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 4:4, 2 Timothy 2:15, Hebrew 11:3)
